Location

We will be gathering at Dancing Tree Sanctuary, a communal land project and venue in Corbett, OR ( a scenic drive 30 minutes east of Portland, OR).

Dancing Tree Sanctuary is nestled next to a 1,000 acres of forested land-trust, welcoming us into deep resonance with our tree-breathing allies in the dawn of summer’s beauty, camping at the doorstep of the Columbia River Gorge.

Accommodations

Summer Campout!

At the request of many of our community members, we have chosen to offer this Level 1 as a camping-centric retreat option. This allows us to offer Level 1 at a significantly-reduced cost while communing closely with our naturally-healing Earth mother. For those unaccustomed to tent camping, there are a few indoor lodging options available at an additional cost (please email patrickmsellin@gmail.com to discuss your lodging needs and preferences).

Dancing Tree Sanctuary also offers us exclusive use of its communal sauna, indoor/outdoor showers and beautiful gathering spaces.

Costs

$1,500 — 1,800 per person

The $1,500-1,800 sliding scale price for participation in this Retreat includes all communal accommodations, three organic and vitality-enhancing meals per day, two facilitated Breathwave ceremonies per day (ten total), daily morning yoga and weeklong sauna access. Participants must bring their own tent, sleeping bags and pads, and personal camping comforts.

This summer campout-style Retreat/Training is a win-win for those who desire intimacy with nature and access to affordable breathwork healing. It is my delight to offer this Retreat/Training at a beautiful location for breathing and outdoor camping at such an affordable cost. For those with financial abundance, please consider offering what you feel/know this Retreat is worth to you, with knowledge that any offering at-or-above this sliding scale cost goes directly to supporting Patrick’s livelihood and his ability to continue offering these healing experiences at affordable costs.

We also do our best to make this Retreat available to all by offering a Payment Plan to those in need. Please ask for a Payment Plan if you need financial assistance.

RSVP Deposit

A deposit of $500 is required up front to reserve your space in this Retreat. Deposits are non-refundable but can be applied in full towards the cost of a future Breathwave retreat hosted by Patrick.

What is Breathwave?

Breathwave is an internationally-acclaimed breathwork modality where participants learn to inspire deep wellness and wonder for their lives through conscious breathing. With the support of certified Breathwave facilitators, breathers are guided out of self-defeating respiratory habits and into profound states of psychosomatic healing and self-revelation.

What makes Breathwave unique amongst breathwork modalities?

Breathwave is a powerfully gentle approach to conscious connected breathing. As a peaceful and pauseless breath circulates through the body, unconscious breathing patterns arise that may impede an optimal flow of respiratory energy. Breathwave facilitators are trained to help individuals correct these unwholesome patterns by using hands-on support, direct verbal coaching, and compassionate affirmations. Once these unwholesome patterns are corrected, individuals can experience the power of a coherent, autonomic breath rhythm— a peak somatic healing experience unique to Breathwave’s gentle approach to conscious breathing.

What is The Self Healing Path Retreat?

This retreat is Breathwave’s Level 1* training, designed for anyone ready to welcome more peace, inspiration, insight, self-love, and practical healing into their lives. For five days, we dive in to the full potential and healing power of Conscious Connected Breathing, experiencing first-hand the physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual benefits and breakthroughs for our lives.

With the guidance of a Senior Breathwave trainer and a team of trained Breathwave facilitators, Level 1 participants are guided through ten Breathwave ceremonies based in the elemental wisdoms of Earth, Water, Fire & Ether as well as Patrick’s expertise in Integral Psychotherapy, transpersonal integration and group council.

*Level 1 is also the prerequisite for those seeking to train in Breathwave Facilitation (Level 2).
